I must insist upon that!You can pay at any time and almost everywhere with EURO. You can get along for the first few days with small change until it becomes necessary to convert Euros. You get the best and most fair rates at banks or post offices. The exchange rates at hotel receptions are between 5 % and 10 % lower than post offices and banks. There are also many automatic cash dispensers in the holiday regions where you can withdraw money with your EC card in Turkish currency.
