Hairdresser: Gone are the days for  expensive haircuts, forget the  prices of 10 to 15 Euro for a gentleman's cut, as you can get it for approx.3-4 euros, including a head masage! Women can get  here a completely new style for  10 to 25 Euro. Men go to the Barber and women  go to the 'Kuaför', the local term for a women's hairdresser. The work of the Turkish hairdressers is very good and quite cheap. If you go to the hairdressers in the hotel you can be guaranteed to pay European prices.

Holiday apartment: You will find a good selection of apartment hotels in the region of Side and Alanya.

Hot springs: The subsoil of the peninsula of Asia Minor consists of a lot of volcanic subsoil. There are more than 800 thermal springs which have been used from early times for welfare purposes. The hot thermal springs contain also calcium and carbon dioxide and traces of hydraulic carbonate and sulfate. Therefore, the water of these springs is well suitable for a variety of drinking and bathing theraphies for  treating a variety of ailments including; heart problems, stomach and intestine complaints, rheumatism and kidney ailments. The  most famous hot springs are; Pamukkale, Bursa, Yalova (at the Marmarasea), Gönen (at Balikesir), Cesme (near Izmir), Afyon, Sandikli (at Afyon), Hartek (at Küthaya) and Ilgin (at Konya). Hospitals: The private hospitals in the holiday regions are known for their outrageous bills.in severe cases or accidents,you should go to Akdeniz University Clinic in Antalya.It is a very modern hospital with international standards and affordable rates.

Incekum: It  verbally translates to : thin sand. A small tourist place near Alanya.

Internet cafes: You can find many of  these in  every holiday region at favorable prices. It is more expensive in hotels.

Jeep-safari: A special treat for nature lovers wanting to have an adventure in the mountains. Every agency offers these excursions. But be very careful as the mountains speaks its' own language, and it is imperative that the driver exercise much caution by concentrating on the route. Alcoholic drinks, which impair judgement, should not be taken along.
